A remarkable 2025/26 season concludes with us heading to Budapest for the UEFA Champions League final, as we face holders Paris Saint-Germain, aiming to clinch our first European Cup.

We are excited to share new details with supporters travelling to the Hungarian capital about what you can expect when you arrive in the city.

All tickets for the final are sold out. For ticketing questions, visit UEFA's website. Check our Help Centre for updates before you travel.

Travelling to Budapest

You will need a passport to enter Hungary if you are travelling directly from the UK or outside the Schengen area. Check if you need a Schengen visa. If you are from within the Schengen zone, bring your passport.

Flights:

  • Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport [BUD] is 25km southeast of the city centre.
  • Alternative airports: Vienna [VIE], Bratislava [BTS], Kosice [KSC].
  • If on a charter flight from London, shuttle buses go directly to the Fan Meeting Point. After the match, you must take the bus back. No independent travel to the airport permitted.

By train or car:

  • Budapest is well connected by rail to Vienna, Bratislava, and Prague. Main stations: Budapest Keleti (east) and Budapest-Nyugati (west).
  • Long-distance buses arrive at Nepliget or Kelenfold terminals.
  • Use Park + Ride if driving.

Free Travel in Budapest

All ticket holders get free travel on certain lines from 29-31 May. Show your match ticket. Valid on:

  • Metro lines 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Tram line 1
  • Champions Express (special bus airport-city)
  • Bus 200E (regular airport service)

Take the red routes to the stadium, or use Puskás Aréna station on M2.

Matchday Schedule (all times local)

  • 8am: Arsenal Fan Meeting Point opens
  • 3pm: Stadium gates open
  • 5.45pm: Kick-off show – The Killers
  • 6pm: Kick-off

Arsenal Fan Meeting Point

Location: Városliget (City Park) – 1km from stadium, 15-min walk. Open: Saturday, May 30, from 8am until post-match.

It's free and non-ticketed. Enjoy:

  • DJs, live entertainment, special guests
  • Gunnersaurus, games, face painters
  • Photo opportunities

Facilities:

  • Food & drink (cashless – use HelloPay if needed)
  • Charging stations (small power banks allowed)
  • Free bag drops (for charter flights, collect on return)
  • Accessible toilets

Important: Wear club colours. No rival shirts, offensive or political symbols.

Getting to the Stadium

  • From Fan Meeting Point: 15-min walk, clearly signposted.
  • From city centre: Walk or take M2 metro to Puskás Aréna.

Outside the stadium: food, beer, and live performances before gates open at 3pm.

Stadium Rules

  • Bags larger than A4 size are prohibited.
  • No smoking (including e-cigarettes).
  • Bring valid original ID (passport or national ID card).
  • Small power banks allowed (no larger than phone).
  • Cashless stadium – bring cards or contactless.
  • Flags/banners max 2m x 1.5m, flagpoles max 1m long & 1cm diameter.

After the Match

  • Trophy ceremony finishes ~8.30pm (normal time) or ~9.15pm (extra time/penalties).
  • Charter flight fans: Must take shuttle bus from Fan Meeting Point. No other access to plane.
  • Public transport: Champions Express & 200E run until midnight. Metro lines until 1am on Sunday, May 31.
